Aage Jorgan Larsen of Humboldt passed away November 2, 2019 at the Paula J. Baber Hospice House in Fort Dodge after a brief illness.
Aage was born June 22, 1934 in Skibby, Denmark to (Anders) Peter and (Anna Margrethe) Caroline Larsen. After serving in the Royal Danish Army for 2 years, he immigrated to Canada in 1957 and found his way to Humboldt, Iowa in 1961. He married Jean Lehman of Humboldt in 1976.
Prior to his retirement due to his declining health, Aage worked at Gunders Church Furniture, John Deere and finished his carpentry and construction career with Sande Construction.
He is survived by his wife Jean and their children, Travis (Amy) Lehman of Marshalltown, Jennifer Madsen of Boone and Kathryn (Tim) Blake of Ankeny, his grandchildren, Michael (Kaleigh) Lehman, Jacob Lehman, Makayla Lehman, Caleb Studer and Isaac Madsen, two nieces, Lone and Bente and their families, all of Denmark.
Aage was preceded in death by his parents, his brothers Leif and Kurt and younger sister, Ingrid.
Services will be held at the Mason Lindhart Funeral & Cremation Service in Humboldt at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, November 4th. Visitation will be 11:30 a.m. at the funeral home. Memorials may be left to the discretion of the family.
