Alice E. Isaacson, 89 of Sun Lakes, Arizona, formerly of Humboldt, passed away on Sunday, December 2, 2018 in Sun Lakes.
She was born July 4, 1929 in Kossuth County, Iowa, the daughter of Claude and Josephine (Witmarsh) Mangle. She attended country school and later moved to Humboldt, graduating from Humboldt High School in 1948. Following graduation, she moved to Des Moines and attended Iowa Beauty School. She was united in marriage to Bernard Isaacson in 1950 and the couple made their home in Fort Dodge. The couple later divorced and Alice and her son, Dennis returned to Humboldt, where she owned and operated a beauty salon for many years. In 1968, they moved to Phoenix and she worked for Motorola until her retirement in 1992.
Alice is survived by her son, Dennis (Janice) Isaacson of Scottsdale, Arizona, two grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Claudia and her brother, Donald Mangle.
Family services were held in Arizona and burial was in Indian Mound Cemetery, Humboldt. Mason-Lindhart Funeral Home of Humboldt was in charge of the local arrangements. www.masonlindhart.com
