Beverly Kocher 78, of Humboldt passed away September 22, 2010 at Humboldt County Memorial Hospital. Funeral Services will be held 2 PM Saturday September 25 at the Mason Lindhart Funeral Home in Humboldt. Visitation will be Friday September 24 from 5 to 7 PM.
Beverly Florea was born July 23, 1932 in Fort Dodge to Ivan Florea and Marie (Messerly) Florea. She graduated form Fort Dodge High School in 1950. For 30 years she worked as a legal secretary for Harlan Stoebe. She then worked for Bob Baker, and Bill Thatcher and part time for Kevin Fors in Harcourt until she retired 3 years ago. She married Ralph Kocher in Leesville, Louisiana while Mr. Kocher was in the Army. They returned to Humboldt following his discharge. She enjoyed dancing, boating, snowmobiling, and roller skating when she was younger. Later in life she turned to knitting, baking, reading, and having her grandchildren and great grandchildren spend the night.
Beverly is survived by her husband Ralph of Humboldt, sons Terry of Cincinnati, Ohio and Steven (Chong) of Clarksville, Tennessee; grandchildren Quentin Kocher, Vonya west, Terry Morgan, Ralph, Tom, Susan, and Rich Kocher; great grandchildren Alexandria Kocher, Marcus Kocher, Noelle Vane, Shawn Kocher, Vanessa Hernandez, Eddie Hernandez, Jr., Electra Lane, and Andrea Rosendahl; sister Mardell Abrams of Callender. Preceding her death were her parents, sister Marilyn Harris, grandson Haven Ray Morgen, and infant daughter Susan Marie.
