Bill Williams, the son of Marguarete and Morris Williams, was born December 20, 1942 in Belmond, Iowa. Bill attended school in various locations. Later in life he started his employment with his brother, Delbert doing cement and mason work. Together, they built some of the best basements in Humboldt and the surrounding areas. Bill also worked at Jet Co. in Humboldt for 18 years and eventually retired from there.
He married Vicki Larson and from that union had 7 children. They later divorced. In 1987, Bill married Jodi Porter-Schneider. They later went separate ways but remained close friends. Bill has spent the last 15 years living in Rutland. His hobbies were fishing, gardening, working in the yard, and watching all the birds and wildlife by the river. He loved old cars. More than anything, Bill loved his family.
He is survived by his fiancée and best friend, Terry Raymond of Rutland; sons, Terry, Tyler (Jan), Trev, and Thad (Patricia); daughters, Tami Williams (Kent Wheeler) and Traci (Damon) DeBales. He is also survived by his brothers, Dick (Pat) Williams, Delbert Williams, and Duane (Dorothy) Williams. There are 19 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren (and one on the way). Bill also had several nieces and nephews that he loved.
He was preceded in death by his son, Tony Williams; sister, Delores Koob, brother, Roger Williams; his parents; stepfather, Don Geary; and two infant sisters.
Bill was a thoughtful and kind man. He cared about others and always liked to see people be happy.
