Charles T. Carman, 85, of Humboldt, formerly of Mountain Home, Arkansas and Center Point, Iowa, went to be with his Lord on June 9, 2011.
Charles was born on November 14, 1925 to Frank and Ermal Carman. He served his country in the United States Navy during World War II. He settled after the war in Center Point, Iowa. After his family was raised he moved to Mountain Home, Arkansas where he married Marilyn Nevius. They owned and operated the Daisy Flower Shop. Marilyn died in April of 1999. In 2007, he moved to Humboldt where he resided with his daughter, Linda Venneman until his death.
Mr. Carman is survived by his children, Linda (Gary) Venneman of Humboldt and Kathy (Garry) Wilhelmi of Center Point; 4 grandchildren; and ten great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Marilyn; his brothers, Cliff, Dave, and Roy Carman; and his sisters, Ethel Parbs, Bertha Nelson, and Buela Dlask.
A private family interment will be at a later date. The Mason-Lindhart Funeral Home of Humboldt is assisting the family.
