Cheryl E. Hall, 54, of Ames, formerly of Humboldt, passed away February 25 at her home. Visitation with the family will be from 4-7 p.m. Monday evening at the Mason-Lindhart Funeral Home in Humboldt.
Ms. Hall is survived by her sons; Troy, Cory, and Marshall Hall; daughter, Tammy Hall; grandchildren, Tamiko Hall, Angel Hall, Fancy Hall, Disarray Hall, Tristan Hall, William Hall, Takota Hall, Alan Lavanway, Jacob Lavanway, Gabriel Hall, Trinity Whitehill, Chasity West, Elizabeth Cruise, Stormy Summers, Margret Strait, Sierra Summers, and Timmothy Dunn; siblings, John Dahl, Terry Dahl, Nancy Johansson, Christy Briggs, Susan Kilts, Jerry Dahl, and Leasha Prime. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband; Irving; significant others, Keith Koop and Gary Van Ornum; grandchild, Odessa West; aunt and uncle, Dale and Margaret Cup.
Cheryl Elizabeth Dahl, the daughter of John Owen and Juanita (McPherson) Dahl, was born, November 21, 1954 at Dakota City. She was raised and educated in Livermore and upon finishing her education she took up a life-long occupation as a nurse’s aid where she helped take care of people. She was employed by the Marion Home in Fort Dodge until retiring several years ago due to health issues. In her retirement she made her home in Des Moines until this past October, when she moved to Ames. Ms. Hall enjoyed going on motorcycle rides, planting flowers, and spending time with her family. She was a beloved mother, sister, and grandmother and will be greatly missed.
