Christine S. Price, 48, of Rolfe, passed away on Friday, December 7, 2018 from injuries received in an automobile accident in Pocahontas County.
She was born April 29, 1970 in Colorado Springs, Colorado, the daughter of Edward and Bonita (Gehling) Clark. She grew up in Rolfe and graduated from Rolfe High School in 1988. Christine was a working mother, she home schooled her children, worked in factories, restaurants, home health care, served as an emergency medical technician for Rolfe and Humboldt, worked as a clerk for Pronto in Rolfe, even did farm work. Christine did what was necessary to provide for her family. She married John C. Price on August 9, 2003 and the couple made their home in Rolfe. She had a good sense of humor, enjoyed crafts with the kids and was involved in a number of different churches throughout her life.
She is survived by her husband, John of Rolfe, her father, Edward Clark of Florida, her mother, Bonita Clark of Rolfe, her children, Caitlyn (Michael) Gord of Rolfe, Kristen Price of Ida Grove, Corina (Shelby) McClain of Oskaloosa, Taylor Aden of Palmer, Madison Price of Des Moines, Myranda Price of Des Moines, Nick (Tareka Habhab) Price of Fort Dodge, Elyjah (Samantha Stone) Price of Rolfe, Cassie (James Pritchard) Posey of Fort Dodge, Micah (Yazmine Slawson) Price of Spencer, J.T “Monkey” Price, Cole Price and Piper Price all of Rolfe, seven grandchildren, Ruger, Rhemmi, Shelby, Adalee, Journee, Kendyl and Xandyr and her sister, Cynthia (Chad) McClement of Forest City.
Visitation will be from 4:00 – 7:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 15th at the Mason-Lindhart Funeral Home in Humboldt. Funeral Services will be at 1:30 p.m. on Sunday, December 16th at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Rolfe. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Christine Price Family. www.masonlindhart.com
