Dennis Meyer

Dennis Meyer, 61, of Humboldt passed away Wednesday October 1, at his home. Funeral services will be 11 AM Monday at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Humboldt with interment immediately following at St. Mary’s Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be from 10-11 AM prior to the service at St. Mary’s Catholic Church. The Mason-Lindhart Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Meyer is survived by his mother, Eleanor of Humboldt; aunt, Doris Callahan of Humboldt; and many cousins.
Dennis Michael Meyer the son of Merle and Eleanor (Callahan) Meyer was born December 31, 1946 in Fort Dodge. He was raised and educated in Humboldt and graduated from Humboldt High School. Following high school Dennis graduated from Briar Cliff University in Sioux City and later received his Masters from Mankato State University. After his education he took up work at the Department of Human Services at Calhoun County. Later Dennis retired and began taking care of his mother and continued to do so until his death. Dennis enjoyed reading and photography.
