Edward A. Coberly

Edward Arnold Coberly, the son of George and Margaret (Mason) Coberly, was born January 24, 1953, in Urbana, Iowa. He was raised and educated in the Cedar Rapids area graduating from Kennedy High School.

Eddy moved to Kansas City for several years before moving to Humboldt in 1974. He worked for the Humboldt Workshop and Humboldt Motors detailing cars, retiring in 2010.

Eddy loved cars and working on them in his spare time in his driveway.

Eddy passed away Wednesday, March 9, 2022, at his home in Dakota City at the age of 69 years. He was preceded in death by his parents, sister, Georgia, brother, Richard and fiancé Wanda Dodrill.
Survivors include his sisters: Shirley (Phil) Pease of Ankeny, Rita Sime of Humboldt and Janet (DeWayne) Schminkey of Cedar Rapids, several nieces and nephews and Jimmy Dodrill who was like a son to Eddy.
