Elizabeth J. Worthington

Elizabeth Worthington, 91, of Humboldt passed away on Friday, September 13, 2019 at the South Care Center in Humboldt.

She was born on December 3, 1927 to Leonard and Mary (Tomblin) Hankins in Mount Lake, Minnesota. She was raised in Pioneer and graduated from Humboldt High School. Elizabeth was united in marriage to Robert Worthington on April 3, 1947 in Humboldt. They loved to entertain and travel and spent numerous years in Tucson and Green Valley, Arizona.

Elizabeth is survived by her children Michael (Patty) Worthington of Humboldt and Lisa (Brian Moore) Johns of Albuquerque, New Mexico, grandchildren Maria (Amaru Robinson) Johns and Brian (Jen ) Menke, great grandchildren Avery Robinson and Grant, Gracie and Gabbie Menke and her sister-in-law, Lois Hankins of Vacaville, California. She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband Robert, four brothers, Edward, Robert, Clifford and Warren and grandson Benjamin Johns.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, September 21st at Faith United Methodist Church in Humboldt. A visitation will be held one hour prior to funeral services at the church. Burial will be at Union Cemetery in Humboldt.
