Ellanora E. Rippee, 93, of Humboldt, passed away on Monday morning, September 19, 2022, at the Humboldt County Memorial Hospital.
Ellanora was born March 21, 1929, in Mason City to Herman William and Auguste (Kroeger) Lucas. She grew up and was educated in Mason City. She was united in marriage to Robert J. Rippee. She worked for a time for Northwestern Bell Telephone, later they moved to Gallion, Ohio before moving to Humboldt.
She is survived by her daughters Jamie Lanning of Sioux City, Mary Jo Brown of Rockford, Illinois, her grandchildren Lauren, Connor and Tara, her brothers Bernard (Peggy) Lucas of Nora Springs and Carl (Darlene) Lucas of Mason City.
Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, September 22nd at Zion Lutheran Church in Humboldt. Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the 11:00 a.m. service at the church. Burial will be in Union Cemetery, Humboldt. The Mason-Lindhart Funeral & Cremation Service is in charge of the arrangements. www.masonlindhart.com
