Garon Cline, 30, of Humboldt, passed away March 26, 2016 at the Paula J. Baber Hospice House in Fort Dodge. A celebration of Garon’s life will be at 6 p.m. Wednesday at the Mason-Lindhart Funeral Home in Humboldt followed by visitation with family and friends at the funeral home.
Garon is survived by his daughters, Esme and Zoey Cline; his son, Richard Cline; his mother, Cindy Cline; father, Dale Cline; his sister, Taria (Scott) Brandt; nephew, Toby; and nieces, Kayla and Hannah. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Richard and Mardell Boyd and his uncle Larry Boyd.
Garon, the son of Cindy (Boyd) and Dale Cline, was born August 12, 1985, at Iowa City, Iowa. He was raised and educated at Humboldt and graduated from Humboldt High School with the class of 2003. Garon attended Peru College in Nebraska where he studied chemistry and science. Following his education, he returned to Humboldt and went to work for various local companies. Most recently, Garon enjoyed his work at Hagie Mfg. in Clarion.
Garon had a passion for anything competitive. He loved playing any type of sports, especially, baseball, basketball, bowling, darts, and pool. He loved card games like cribbage, poker, and magic and spent many hours playing his video games. He took greet pride in helping young people and served on the Head Start Policy Council and served as an umpire for Little League Baseball. He loved music and served as security for many local bands. Above all, Garon loved his children and was very proud of them.
