Helen E. Dodd

Helen E. Dodd, 92, of Humboldt, passed away October 12, 2014 at the Humboldt County Memorial Hospital.  Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Wednesday at Our Saviour’s Lutheran Church in Humboldt with the Rev. Gene Broughton and Rev. Russ Crouthamel officiating.  Interment will be in Union Cemetery, Humboldt.  Visitation is from 10-11 a.m. Wednesday at the church.  Arrangements are being handled by the Mason-Lindhart Funeral Home in Humboldt.
Helen is survived by her daughters, Dianna Eckard and Donna (Nick) Kathman, both of Milford, and Heidi (Bill) Triplett of Tulsa, OK; 8 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren and two being anxiously awaited; and brothers, Andrew (Eileen) Baardson of Arizona and Elmer (Phyllis) Baardson of Fort Dodge.  Helen is also survived by her second husband’s family, Bobbie, Barry, and Brad Dodd, Connie Buswell and Cindy Nellis, as well as their families.  She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Brita Baardson; her husbands, Jesse Peter Solbeck and Earl Dodd; her granddaughter, Jennifer Ruzicka; sister, Jeannette Christensen, and son-in-law, Donald Eckard.
Memorials may be made to the resident activities fund at the Humboldt Care Center North.
