On August 29, 2017, Isabelle S. Benjamin, 96, of Humboldt, said, “Good bye, world – hello Jesus”, tent dissolved, mansion entered. She is waiting in her mansion to greet her daughters, Roberta (Robert) Boore of Bettendorf, Rebecca (Ronald) Juelfs of Ames, and Rachael (Jake) Bullock of Clarksville, TN; sons, Roderick (Nancy) Benjamin of Benson, MN, Royal (Elaine) Benjamin of Parker, CO, and Reginald (Courtney Mae) Benjamin of Eagle Lake, MN; daughter-in-law, Kathy Benjamin of Rutland; grandchildren, Russell Boore, Renee’ Wittrock, Robbyn Smith, Raeanna McCollum, Ross Benjamin, Petraya Gunther, Micah Juelfs, Niki Fowler, Noelle Benjamin, Nathan Benjamin, Chad Benjamin, Jacob Bullock, Kristina Schaeffel, Josiah Bullock, Cody Benjamin, Cassandra Philipsen, Courtney Benjamin, and Chaise Benjamin; step-grandchildren, Felice Paden, Chad Zittritsch, and Kurtis Zittritsch; 21 great grandchildren; 5 step great-grandchildren; 2 great-great grandchildren; brother, Lowell (Edith) Olsen of Bettendorf; and sister, Janet (Abraham) Bishey of Fort Dodge. Those who welcomed her home were her parents, Sam and Christina Olsen; husband, Robert; sons, Raymon and Rolland; brothers, Henry, Roy, and Elmer Olsen; sister, Fern Andersen; and step great grandchildren, Breck and Brooke Zittritsch.
Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday, September 2, 2017 at New Covenant Christian Church in Fort Dodge. Visitation is from 5-7 p.m. Friday at the Mason-Lindhart Funeral Home in Humboldt. Burial will be in Marble Valley Cemetery, Gilmore City.
