Jack R. Fowler, 83, of Alva, FL. formerly of Fort Dodge and Humboldt passed away Feb. 8th, 2011. Memorial services for Jack will be at 2:00 pm Sat. May 21 at the Mason-Lindhart Funeral Home in Humboldt.
Jack is survived by his wife of 31 years Janice and by his children, Sheila Cates of FL. Pete Fowler of AZ, Joline Mattingly of AZ, Keeli Ward of IA, Kathi Black of IA, Karri George of IA, Dorine Peterson of IA, Danele Cooper of IA, and Bekki Weeda of IA. Step-children Sally Dunphy of CO, Lucy Dunphy of IA, Becky Dunphy of IA, Mary Dunphy of MN, John Dunphy of IA, Rom Dunphy of IA and Jim Dunphy of MN, 35 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren.
Jack was born and raised in Fort Dodge, IA and owned and operated JiFi Print in Fort Dodge until 1990. He served in the Navy during WWII and was an avid square dance teacher and caller in IA and in FL where he was club caller for several area clubs.
