Jacquelin L. "Jackie" Schulze

Jacquelin (Jackie) Redenius Schulze passed away April 28, 2024 at the age of 86. The oldest daughter of Lawrence and Margaret (Walther) Redenius, she was born April 15^th, 1938 at St. Anthony’s Hospital in Carroll, Iowa.  She was raised in Lake City until the age of 14 when they moved to Humboldt.  Jackie graduated from Humboldt High School in 1957.  On August 11, 1957, she was united in marriage to Vernon Schulze of Humboldt.  In July 1967, they welcomed a son, Robert Kent into the family. Vernon and Jackie celebrated their 60^th anniversary in 2017 before Vernon passed away.  Jackie enjoyed hauling the crop to the elevator in the fall and working part-time at Dekalb. Jackie was a member of Zion Lutheran Church.  She was active in LWML, choir and taught Sunday School and Bible School. 

Jackie was preceded in death by her husband; Vernon, parents; Lawrence and Margaret Redenius, sisters; Shelly Redenius, Linda Detmering, brother; Thomas Redenius, sisters-in-law; Patricia Redenius, Cindy Redenius, brother-in-law; Fred Detmering and great-nephew; Ryan Detmering.  

Jackie is survived by her son, Robert (Aida) Schulze of Simi Valley, California, her grandchildren, Alexander, Helen and Leonidas, brother; Max (Sally) Redenius of Gilmore City, Margaret Ann (Al) Hubrich of Humboldt. Marion (Dennis) Bird of Fort Dodge, eleven nephews, one niece and several great and great-great nieces and nephews 

Funeral services will be held at Zion Lutheran Church on Friday, May 3^rd at 10:30 a.m.  Visitation will be held from 9:30 a.m. until service time at the church.  Burial will be in Zion Lutheran Cemetery, Beaver Township.  The Mason Lindhart Funeral & Cremation Service is in charge of the arrangements.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be left to Zion Lutheran Church or Lutheran Family Services of Fort Dodge.  www.masonlindhart.com
