Jeremy J. Knowles

Jeremy J. Knowles, 43, of Harrisburg, South Dakota, formerly of Titonka, passed away peacefully at his home on Tuesday morning, February 6, 2024.

He was born September 19, 1980 in Iowa City, the son of John E. and Karen L. (Thompson) Knowles.  He was raised and educated in Algona and Burt area and graduated from Algona High School in 1999.  Jeremy was united in marriage to Amanda A. Winters and the couple made their home in Titonka. He had worked as a contractor specializing in home renovations.   He especially enjoyed his family time, fishing, disc golf, cooking, camping and music.  His favorite bands were Godsmack and Metallica.  Oreo, his dog, was his faithful companion.

Jeremy is survived by his wife Amanda, his children; Kiylie (Branden) Garrett, Seth Green, Austin Jordan, Brayden Knowles, Ricky Jordan, Aubrey Knowles, Avery Knowles and Mckynzie Knowles, grandson Waylen Garrett, his mother Karen (Mel) Balsley, his sister Jennifer (Knowles) Niebuhr, and his step-brothers and sisters; Megan Balsley, Jacob Balsley, Nick (Sara) Gilliland, Josh Cook, Melanie Brown and Danielle (Clay) Dellos.   He was preceded in death by his father John and his brother Cory.

Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Monday, February 12^th and visitation will be from 12:30 p.m. until the time of the service, Monday, at the Mason-Lindhart Funeral & Cremation Service in Humboldt.   Burial will be in Union Cemetery, Humboldt.   www.masonlindhart.com
