John D. Jensen

John D. Jensen, 69, of Humboldt, passed away April 14, 2018 at Humboldt. Visitation will be from 4-6 p.m. Friday, April 20, 2018 at the Mason-Lindhart Funeral Home in Humboldt.
John Dennis Jensen was born May 30, 1948, the third son of Ralph and Enid Tulla Jensen.
He graduated from Gilmore City-Bradgate School. In 1968 he was inducted in the U.S. Army serving in the 1st Cavalry Division (Airmobile), Charlie Company, 228th Aviation Battalion in the Republic of Vietnam from September 1968 to August 1969.
In 1971 he married Carol Heykes. He was blessed with three sons and two grandsons: Robert; Phillip (Heidi) Parker James and Phin John; and Timothy.
He is survived by his wife, Carol; sons and grandsons; siblings, Jim and Dayle Jensen, Doug and Kathy Jensen, Mike and Cindy Jensen, and Steve and Kathy Stamper; in addition to numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents and by his in-laws, Richard and LuElla Heykes.
