Judy Habben, 72, of Humboldt passed away on Wednesday, July 15, 2020 at Trinity Regional Medical Center in Fort Dodge.
She was born December 12, 1947 in West Bend, Iowa the daughter of Howard and Emaline (Walsh) Jergens. She grew up in the West Bend area and graduated from Gilmore City – Bradgate High School. She was united in marriage to Kenny L. Habben on February 4, 1967 in West Bend. The couple made their home in Pioneer where she raised her family. Judy later worked at Humboldt Sausage for a number of years and the VFW in Dakota City. She was a member of the VFW Auxiliary. She especially enjoyed her children and grandchildren and spending time with her sisters, family was a very important part of her life.
She is survived by her husband Kenny of Humboldt, her children Tracy (Al Murphy) Witte of Clare, Ricky Habben of Humboldt, Chad (Beth) Habben of Palmer and Jeffry (Dawn) Habben of Livermore, 7 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren and her brothers and sisters Irene Fredericksen of West Bend, Marge Schmidt of Emmetsburg, Dale (Pam) Jergens of Alabama, Richard “Putter” (Darlene) Jergens of Gilmore City, Janet (Larry) Bruggeman of Nebraska, Helen (Jim) Garrigan of Emmetsburg and Joe Jergens of Waterloo.
Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, July 21st at Zion Lutheran Church in Humboldt, facial coverings are strongly recommended. Visitation will be Monday, July 20th at the Mason-Lindhart Funeral Home in Humboldt. Burial will be in Corinth Township Cemetery.
