Karen Leslie Warden, 59, of Gallatin, Missouri passed away peacefully at her home on December 28, 2016 with friends and family around her. A time to gather to celebrate Karen’s life will be held on Saturday, May 20th from 1-5 in the shelter at Gotch Park near Humboldt.
Karen was born in Fort Dodge, Iowa to Les and Margaret Warden on March 9, 1957. She attended Humboldt High School, Class of 1975. Karen was a homemaker, but always kept busy helping friends when they needed a hand with projects and odd jobs. She always loved bowling and enjoyed fishing, movies, solitaire, and visiting with friends.
Karen is preceded in death by her parents, Les and Margaret Warden; two brothers Glen Robert and George Edward.
Karen is survived by her husband Rick Puffer of Gallatin, Missouri; two brothers Richard Warden and James Warden both of Las Vegas, Nevada; daughter Crystal (Tim) Wheeler of Fort Collins,
Colorado; daughter Gina (Aaron) Doonan of Over- land Park, Kansas; son Brandon (Sherry) Johnson of Gallatin, Missouri; son Wade (Melissa) Johnson of Ankeny, Iowa; four grand- sons Aiden Williams and Liam Doonan of Overland Park, Kansas and Kyler and Camden Johnson of Ankeny, Iowa.
