Kevin H. Tellier

Kevin H. Tellier, 68 of Humboldt, passed away on Thursday evening, December 8, 2022 at the Paula Baber Hospice Home in Fort Dodge.
He was born April 29, 1954, in Fort Dodge, the son of Howard and Doris (Andersen) Tellier. He was raised on a farm north of Humboldt and in 1972 graduated from Humboldt High School. Kevin was active in wrestling, golf and football. He then attended Ellsworth College. Kevin loved working the family farm and helping nearby farmers until he passed. He married the love of his life, Margaret on February 14, 1985. Kevin was an avid Hawkeye and Yankee fan, a Jaycee member and a frequent traveler. He devoted his time to watching his grandchildren’s’ and great nieces’/nephews’ activities and worked for the last years dedicating his time to “Meals for The Heartland”.
Kevin is survived by his wife, Margaret of Humboldt, his children Derek (Laura) Tellier of Minnetonka, Minnesota, Marissa (Justin) Bauer of Ankeny, Iowa, grandchildren Ava, Ivan, Claire and Garrett, his brother Kirk Tellier of Los Angeles, Paul Collins brother-in-law, nephew Mike Collins and niece Theresa Olesen.
He was preceded in death by his parents Howard and Doris Tellier, sister Cheryl Tellier, daughter Wendy Tellier, sister-in-law Sue Collins.
Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, December 13th at Our Saviour’s Lutheran Church in Humboldt. Visitation will be from 4:00 – 7:00 p.m. Monday, December 12th at Our Saviour’s Lutheran Church in Humboldt. Burial will be in Union Cemetery.
