Linda M. Price

Linda Marie Price, 54, of Humboldt, passed away at her home on August 30, 2009. Funeral services will be held at 1:30pm on Wednesday, September 2, 2009 at the Faith United Methodist Church in Humboldt with Father Gerald Naber officiating. Interment will take place at Indian Mound Cemetery, Humboldt. Visitation will be Tuesday, September 1, 2009 from 5:00pm to 8:00pm at the Mason-Lindhart Funeral Home in Humboldt.
Linda Marie Price, the daughter of Larry and Eileen (Bissey) Hamilton was born on August 16, 1955 in Hampton, Iowa. At the age of two, she moved with her parents to Humboldt where she was educated. She graduated from the Humboldt High School in 1974 and attended Iowa Central Community College. On July 16, 1976 she was united in marriage to C. Wayne Price at her parent’s home. They then made their home in Colorado, Missouri, and Illinois until settling in Humboldt. Linda raised her children and in 1989 established a quilting business.
Linda was a talented quilter and enjoyed creative and artistic quilting. She was a member of numerous quilting clubs. Linda enjoyed nature and Arabian horses.
Linda is survived by her husband, C. Wayne Price; parents, Larry and Eileen Hamilton; daughters, Sabrina (Donny) Sparks of Maywood, MO Sarah (Shawn) Schlenker of Des Moines, Pamela Price of Des Moines; brothers, Lee (Mary) Hamilton of Humboldt, Mike Hamilton of Kailua-Kona, HI, Bruce (Janet) Hamilton of Fonda; sister, LuAnn (Allan Fisher) Lockwood of Clear Lake; grandchildren, Jennifer and Nicole Sparks and many nieces and nephews.
