Lynn E. Pattee

Lynn E. Pattee, 75, of Humboldt, passed away on Sunday morning, November 26, 2023, at the Humboldt County Memorial Hospital.

Lynn was born August 13, 1948 in Council Bluffs, Iowa, the daughter of Leonard and Eleanor (Bordner) Crawford.  She was raised in Avoca, Iowa and graduated from Mount Ayr High School in 1966, where she played on the Girls State Basketball Team.  She then attended Iowa State Teachers College in Cedar Falls.  Lynn was united in marriage to Robert E. Pattee on June 14, 1969 in Avoca.  The couple made their home in Humboldt and Lynn was a longtime child care provider in the community.  She took great joy in following the growth of her daycare children into adulthood.  She was passionate about quilting and sewing, baking, time at the cabin in Minnesota and especially enjoyed traveling to sporting events for her children and grandchildren.

She is survived by her husband Bob of Humboldt, her children, Angie Pattee (Doyle Karsten) of Waseca, Minnesota and Andy (Allison) Pattee of Cedar Falls, her grandchildren; Jake Stockdale, Luke (Tiffany Russell) Stockdale, Anthony Pattee and Avery Pattee, her great-grandchildren Beau & Willow and her brother Steve (Joyce) Crawford of Ft. Myers, Florida.  She was preceded in death by her parents and grandson Alexander Robert Pattee.

A Memorial Gathering will be held on Saturday, December 2^nd from 10:00 – 12:00 noon and a Memorial Service for Family and Close Friends will be held at 12 noon, Saturday at the Mason-Lindhart Funeral & Cremation Service in Humboldt.  Burial will be in Union Cemetery, Humboldt.   www.masonlindhart.com
