Marian J. Williams

Marian J. Williams, 92, of Livermore, passed away peacefully on the morning of Monday, June 10, 2024 in the Long Term Care Unit of the Humboldt County Memorial Hospital.

Marian was born June 11, 1931 in Mason City, the daughter of Seward and Lillian Glee (Pope) Link.  She was raised and educated in Mason City and moved to Livermore at age eighteen.  Marian was united in marriage to Virgil L. Williams on January 1, 1948 in Mason City.  She and Virgil farmed for 50 years near Livermore.  They wintered in Arizona for over 40 years and enjoyed traveling together throughout the country and abroad.  Marian was a member of Zion Lutheran Church.   She enjoyed painting, quilting, cross stitch, cooking and canning.  She was known to show her love for others by her baking.

Marian is survived by her daughter-in-law Peggy Williams of Ames, her granddaughters Amanda (Justin) Thompson and Monica (Luke) Albertson, great-grandchildren; Ari & Eisley Thompson and Iylah & Adrah Albertson.  She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Virgil, sons David, Michael and Danny,  her brother Ernest and her sisters Marjorie Baker and Juanita Humberson.

Funeral Services will be 11:00 a.m. on Friday, June 14^th at Zion Lutheran Church in Humboldt. Visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m., one hour prior to the service at the church on Friday.  Burial will be in Union Cemetery, Humboldt.  The Mason-Lindhart Funeral & Cremation Service of Humboldt is in charge of the arrangements.   www.masonlindhart.com
