Marjorie A. Vosberg, 83, of Humboldt, passed away June 24, 2010 at the Crestview Manor in Webster City.  Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Monday at the Zion Lutheran Church in Humboldt with the Rev. J.K. Raether and Rev. Aaron Flatau officiating.  Interment will be in Zion Cemetery, Humboldt.  Visitation is from 4-7 p.m. Sunday at the Mason-Lindhart Funeral Home in Humboldt.
Mrs. Vosberg is survived by her husband, Harold of Humboldt; daughter, Linda (James) Hutchinson of Webster City; sons, Dennis (Susan) Vosberg of Peoria, IL, and Daryl (Heidy) Vosberg of Lake Elmo, MN; grandchildren, Jodi (Brian) Harms of Duncombe, Brian (Livia) Vosberg of Edison, NJ, Nicholas (Patricia) Vosberg of Tucson, AZ, Anthony (Alexis) Vosooney of St. Paul, MN, Jennifer Vosberg, Manchester, N.H., Michael Vosberg of Midland, MI, and Stephen Vosberg of Lake Elmo, MN; great grandchildren Brandon, Ethan, and Carter Harms, and Riley Vosooney; brother, Walter (Jeri) Licht of Badger; sisters, Irene Denklau of Fort Dodge, Alberta (Willis) Adkins of Gowrie, and Ruth (Duane) Fredrickson of Fahrnamville; brother-in-law, Duane (Karen) Vosberg of Omaha; and sister-in-law, Joyce Vosberg-Becker of Manson.  She was preceded in death by her parents, and her brother Edgar.
Marjorie Agnes Licht, the daughter of Albert and Agnes (Kirchoff) Licht, was born November 24, 1926 on a farm near Clare, Iowa.  She attended school at Clare and graduated from Humboldt High School.  She worked briefly in Humboldt for the DeKalb Seed Corn Co. before going to work in Fort Dodge for Hamm’s Brewery and J.C. Peterson Clothing Store.  On June 26, 1949, Marjorie was united in marriage to Harold Vosberg at Deer Creek Church.  The couple began farming near Fort Dodge and Kneirem where Marjorie worked for Tony’s Restaurant.  They then farmed together near Ottosen and Rutland for many years.  They made their home in Humboldt in 1981 and continued their farming operations until 1993.
Mrs. Vosberg was a member of Zion Lutheran Church and the LWML.  She and Harold helped establish their card club at Rutland which she enjoyed.  Marjorie was accomplished at crocheting and embroidery and made quilts for all of her grandchildren.  Above all she enjoyed the love of her family and following her grandchildren’s activities.
