Mildred F. Sorlie, 100 of Humboldt, passed away on Wednesday, October 14, 2020 at the Humboldt County Memorial Hospital.
She was born August 29, 1920, the daughter of Harry and Ruth (Marcellus) Pollock in Pioneer. She was raised on a farm and after graduating Livermore High School in 1938, Mildred married Ralph Stoddard. Together they had two daughters. Mildred was a homemaker but did enjoy working at Ozzy’s Paint Store and Hoods Grocery Store. She also enjoyed crocheting, gardening and reading.
She is survived by her two daughters, Janice Funk of Humboldt and Linda (Chuck) Wolfe of West Virginia, her sister Beverly (Darrell) Olson of Tennessee/Mesa, Arizona, grandchildren Tony Rohrer, Brent (Stephanie) Rohrer, Holly Funk, Chuck Wolfe, Carrie (Michael) Beaulieeu (Michael) and 8 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husbands Ralph Stoddard, Marvin Nelson and Carol Sorlie.
Visitation will be Saturday, October 17, 2020 from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the 11:00 a.m. service at the Mason-Lindhart Funeral Home in Humboldt. Burial will be in Union Cemetery, Humboldt.
