Nancy A. Brunner

Nancy Ann Brunner, 83, of Humboldt passed away Saturday, May 8, 2021 at Humboldt County Memorial Hospital Long Term Care.

She was born to Harry and Faye (DeHart) Mohr December 15, 1937 in Lake City, Iowa. She attended school in Laurens, later moving to Osage where she graduated with the class of 1956. She married Vernon Brunner in 1957, they had 4 children: Vicki, Kevin, Brenda and Bradley. They later divorced.

Nancy loved to spend time with her family, bargain shopping, coffee with friends and bible study. She operated her own beauty shops in Thor, Dakota City and Humboldt for over 41 years.

She is survived by her daughters Vicki (William) Holden and Brenda (Dan Johnson) Wooten of Humboldt, and son Bradley (Krystina Bakken) Brunner of Livermore, 3 grandchildren: Eric (Jennifer) Holden, Brianne (Andrew) Martin and Dylan Wooten. Bonus granddaughters, Bobbie and Jessica, 3 great grandchildren and 3 step-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and son, Kevin.

Funeral services are Friday May 14, 2021 at 2:00 pm at the Faith United Methodist Church in Humboldt, with visitation from 1:00 – 2:00 pm at the church. Burial will be at Indian Mound Cemetery. www.masonlindhart.com
