Orrine Kirchhof, 75, of Williston, North Dakota, formerly of Humboldt, passed away Friday morning, September 25, 2015, at the Mercy Medical Center in Williston. Funeral services will be Thursday, October 8th, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. in the chapel of the Mason Lindhart Funeral Home in Humboldt. Rev. Morris Kirchhof will officiate and interment will follow in the Zion Lutheran Cemetery
Orrine Sharon (Johnson) Kirchhof was born December 4, 1939, in Humboldt, Iowa, to Martha (Sandvig) and Elmer Johnson. On December 24, 1957, she was united in marriage to Morris Max William Kirchhof. To this union, one child, Mark Owen, was born. Orrine earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree from Briar Cliff College in Sioux City, Iowa.
Orrine had a great sense of humor and loved the church and music. She was an accomplished pianist and regularly lead the congregation in song and worship. Orrine taught Sunday School, Confirmation classes and was an active participant in Women of Life Missions. Orrine became a resident of Bethel Lutheran Home in 2005. She enjoyed sing-alongs, Bible Trivia, Bingo and other activities.
Orrine is survived by her loving husband of 57 years, Morris; son, Mark and his wife, Mona; grandson, Thomas; and three sisters-in-law. She was preceded in death by her parents; three sisters; and a brother.
