Pamela Jean Eddington, the daughter of Charles and Jean (Fernstern) McCuen, was born January 11, 1955, in Logan, West Virginia. She was raised and educated in St. Albans West Virginia. Pam attended college at Pima college.
On December 8, 1975, Pam was united in marriage to David Eddington in Tucson, Arizona, coming from two different walks of life, devoted in raising their family. The couple lived in Bode Iowa.
Pam was a member of LifeGate Fellowship Church. She was a homemaker and enjoyed shopping for jewelry and antiques and together they watched Heartland several times and read scripture as a family every night. David was the love of her life and Pam was a devoted care giver to her husband and children.
Pam passed away Wednesday, December 1, 2021, from injuries she received in a motor vehicle accident near Bode at the age 66 years. She was preceded in death by her parents, brother, Jay McCuen and her in-laws Ivan and Shirley Eddington.
Pam is survived by her husband, David Eddington Sr. of Bode; three children: Lisa (Derek) Vohs of Thor, David Eddington Jr. and Charles Eddington of Bode; grandchildren: Krystal (Robert) Nau of Canton, OH, Megan (Jacob) Koster of Fort Dodge and David (Kelsey) Vohs of Ankeny; great grandchildren, Robert and Elizabeth Nau and a sister.
Funeral services will be 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 9, 2021, at LifeGate Fellowship Church in Humboldt with Pastor Dennis Niles officiating. Visitation will be Thursday from 4:00-7:00 p.m. at the church. Burial will be Friday in the Iowa Veterans Cemetery in Adel. Memorials may be left to the discretion of the family.
