Praxedis Soria was born December 6, 1974 in Delicias, Chihuahua Mexico, the third of ten children born to Praxedis and Eustolia De Santiago Soria. Praxedis grew up in Delicias and had to leave school in the 8th grade in order to help support his family. At the age of 14, he accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior, and he dedicated his life to evangelism. When he was 18 years old he met Deborah Marquez while they were both students at Bible college. They married December 28, 1996 in Mexico. Four children were born to this union: Alejandra, Jonathan, Isaac, and Yatzary. One month after their marriage, Praxedis and Debra moved to Denver, CO. From there they moved to Blue Earth, MN for 9 years before returning to Denver. Three months ago the family moved to Humboldt, where they planned to plant a Spanish speaking church.
Family members remaining to cherish his memory include wife, Debra,; children Alejandra, Jonathan, Isaac, and Yatzary, all at home; siblings Jesus, Lily, Luis, Saul, Erica, Noe, and Dora of Delicias, and Martin of Denver. Preceding Praxedis in death were his grandparents.
Praxedis enjoyed painting houses, but his greatest passion in life was spreading the Gospel of Jesus Christ. He will be deeply missed by his family and friends.
