Rachel Mae Richardson of Humboldt died at the South Care Center in Humboldt on Sept. 15, 2012. She was 77 years old. A memorial service is being planned out of state at a later date.
Rachel was born in Craftbury, VT. on Dec. 4, 1934 and worked as a registered nurse until her retirement in 1995. She moved to Humboldt and became a resident of the South Care Center in 2010.
Rachel is survived by her son Chris (Janelle) Lovejoy, Humboldt; daughters, Constance (Donald) McEwan of Scottsdale, AZ, Gail Lovejoy, Manhattan, NY, Joan Lovejoy, Poway, CA; two grandchildren Ryan Caval and CJ Lovejoy; brother, Donny (Diane) Richardson and sister Elsie Palmer. She was preceded in death by her parents, and grandson Samuel James Lovejoy. The Mason-Lindhart Funeral Home of Humboldt is assisting the family.
