Rich L. Dunscombe

Richard L. Dunscombe, 54, formerly of Humboldt, passed away at the Hennepin County Medical Center in Minneapolis, Minnesota on January 27, 2019.
He was born July 27, 1964, the son of Dr. Larry and Carol (Loftus) Dunscombe. He grew up in Humboldt where he was a 1983 graduate of Humboldt High School. Rich excelled in sports, played football and was a state medalist in wrestling in 1983. He graduated from the radiography program at Iowa Central Community College. He had many passions which included water skiing, snow skiing, surfing, scuba diving and running, winning many medals as a result. He was involved in music and played drums with many bands. Rich gave real meaning to the words “Live life to the fullest”.
He is survived by his parents, Dr. Larry and Carol Dunscombe of Humboldt, his sisters, Laura Loftus of Minneapolis and Lisa (John) Weydert of Jordan, Minnesota and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his twin brother, Dr. Rob Dunscombe.
Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the 11:00 a.m. Funeral Mass on Saturday, February 23rd at St. Mary Catholic Church in Humboldt. www.masonlindhart.com
