Robin H. Mikelson, 77, formerly of Allison and Humboldt, passed away on Monday, February 25, 2019 in Clear Lake.
She was born November 21, 1941 in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, the daughter of Carlton and Helene (Miller) Boller. She was united in marriage to Craig C. Fishel in December 1960. She worked as a middle school teacher and especially enjoyed children and her grandchildren. She volunteered in retirement at St. Mary’s School, enjoyed making greeting cards, knitting, golf and yoga. She was a member of PEO.
Robin is survived by her children, Clint (Christine) Fishel of Humboldt, Rochelle (Steve) Loob of Aurora, Colorado and Alyson Fishel of Allison, Iowa, her grandchildren, Brandon Ore of Lone Tree, Colorado, Alex (Rebecca) Ore of Parker, Colorado, Craig, Brett and Rachel all of Humboldt, her brother Ted (Ingrid) Boller and her sister, Mary Maxwell both of Greene, Iowa, her nephews, Rod Freeseman, Des Moines Iowa, and Steve and Michelle Boller, Greene Iowa. She was preceded in death by her husband, Craig C. Fishel and Richard Mikelson and her parents, Carlton and Helene Boller.
Visitation will be on Friday, March 1st from 12:30 p.m. until the time of the 1:00 p.m. Funeral Service at St. Mary Catholic Church in Humboldt. Burial will be in the Allison Cemetery, Allison. In lieu of flowers, memorials to charity will be at the family’s discretion. www.masonlindhart.com
