Sally Bradley, 77, of Humboldt, passed away July 7, 2018 at the Marian Home in Fort Dodge. Memorial services will be 12:00 p.m. Saturday, August 4, 2018 at the Faith United Methodist Church in Humboldt. Visitation is from 11:00-12:00 p.m. Saturday at the church.
Sally Goodell, the daughter of Archie and Bonnie (Bair) Goodell, was born December 21, 1940 in Humboldt County, Iowa. She was raised on the family farm and attended school in Humboldt. Following her graduation from Humboldt High School in 1959, Sally attended Iowa Beauty School in Des Moines. She was united in marriage to Vincent Tookey and the couple made their home in Des Moines before moving to Humboldt where Sally stayed busy at home caring for her two sons. She then worked as a seamstress for Hadar Manufacturing before becoming a supervisor at Syntex Industries until her retirement.
Sally married James “Mike” Bradley in 1975 and the couple continued to maintain their home in Humboldt until Mike’s death in June of 2014. Sally was a member of the Faith United Methodist Church. She enjoyed antiquing, playing bridge and golfing.
She is survived by her sons, Barry (Teresa) Tookey of Seattle, WA and Lance (Roberta) Tookey of Seattle, WA; daughters, Victoria Grey of Pocahontas and Kimberly Ann (Deane) Davenport; grandchildren, Marissa Brent-Tookey, Cass (Robert) Heltzel, Clayton (Susan) Kirkegaard, Shane (Callie) Kirkegaard, Shawn (Kary) Kirkegaard, Mariah Grey, and Isabel Davenport; great grandchild, Nathan; sisters, Dixie Goodell of Ohio and Holly (Goodell) Rausch of Wisconsin; and brother, Mike (Diana) Goodell of Eldora. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband, Mike.
