Sandra, (Sandy) Sue Moench, would like to let you know that her work here is done. She received a call, early on Saturday May 2nd, to attend a gathering in heaven. This heavenly calling comes with a reunion with family and friends she has not seen in a long time. Her new mission takes her to a wonderful place where she will be socializing, dancing, boating, snowmobiling, gardening and quilting, to her heart’s content. Music, laughter and love are guaranteed. Food is delicious and you never gain an ounce. She left detailed instructions for her husband, children and grandchildren to celebrate her life here, which has now been completed.
Sandy lived life to the fullest. She was born October 3, 1939. A lifelong resident of Humboldt, Iowa but known to travel to exotic places where she and Rich, her husband of 57 years, explored this wonderful world. She was a master of color and textile. An avid crafter that has left a legacy of her beautiful quilts, floral arrangements and yards of the most beautiful fabrics in colors and patterns, each selected with an incredible artistic vision. She shared her talents in teaching others, vacation bible school craft teacher, 4-H leader, swimming instructor and assistant teacher to the arts in High School. We will remember her smile, her warmth, her energy, her love for life, family and friends. She made a difference in the lives of many. We invite you to join us and celebrate together.
