Shane Jensen, 19, of Humboldt, died November 11, 2017. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday, November 21, 2017 at the Faith United Methodist Church in Humboldt. Visitation is 4-7 p.m. Monday at the Mason-Lindhart Funeral Home in Humboldt.
Shane was born January 23, 1998 at Fort Dodge, Iowa. His mother brought him home to rural Livermore. Shane was raised in Humboldt County and attended school at Humboldt. He and his family were so proud when Shane received his high school diploma from Iowa Central Community College six months early.
Shane worked for a time in the family’s business, Jensen Excavation, along with other area business’s including Gronbach Construction and Misty Harbor.
He enjoyed four wheeling and cruising, but his greatest love was music. It served as his therapy, his release, and his passion. He especially loved country music and enjoyed making his own music videos, which he would share with everyone he could. He enjoyed fishing and loved to walk to help clear his mind. Shane loved his 8 sisters and had a special bond with his twin sister, Spencer. Their souls were connected in a way only they could understand and would do anything for each other.
Those left to grieve Shane are his loving mother, Krystal (Bob) Wagner of Humboldt; his father, Allen Jensen of Livermore; his 8 sisters; Kenzie (Jay) Mosher of Spencer, Ryanna (Jay) Tolsma of Sioux Falls, SD, Jennifer Bell of Humboldt, Darcy (Chey Payer) Bell of Pocahontas, Danielle (Justin) Anderson of Pocahontas, Brit (Jered Walker) Bell of Des Moines, Kaitlyn (Jamie Dencklau) Jensen of Humboldt, and twin sister, Spencer (Anthony Hamilton) Jensen of Humboldt; step brothers, Joe & James Jensen; grandparents, Dick and Dee Coleman of Livermore and Russ and Diane Jensen of Humboldt; 7 nephews; and 6 nieces who adore their uncle Shaney. In heaven, he will be greeted by his buddy, Maynard Reynolds and his aunt, Michelle Jensen.
