William Harold Brundige

William Harold Brundige, 78 of Humboldt, passed away at his home on Friday morning, November 23, 2018.

He was born November 9, 1940 in Des Moines, Iowa, the son of Glen D. and Maxine (Stracke) Brundige. He grew up and attended school in the Barnum area and on July 4, 1959 was united in marriage to Loretta Gregerson. He worked for a number of years at Beisser Glass Company in Fort Dodge until starting his own company. He married Shirley L. Osborne on February 5, 1989 in Fort Dodge. The couple made their home in Thor and he worked as a truck driver. Harold enjoyed remodeling projects, working on small engines and doing the crossword puzzles.

He is survived by his wife, Shirley of Humboldt, his children, Bill (Tina) Brundige of Beloit, Wisconsin, Laurie (Darrel) Lagerstrom of Fort Dodge, Rob (Lori) Brundige of Byron, Minnesota, Jeff (Kim) Brundige of Badger, Megan Brundige and Nathan (Krystalle) Brundige both of Humboldt, Dillon (Amber) Brundige and Reba Brundige and her fiancé, Josh Henrichs all of Thor, sixteen grandchildren, twenty-four great-grandchildren, one great-great grandson, his brother, Daniel (Linda) Brundige of St. Joseph, Missouri and his sister, Winona Hurtt of Rolfe. He was preceded in death by his parents, his step-father, Robert Nickless, his brother, Dennis and two infant great-grandson’s, Javier and Liam.

A Memorial Gathering will be held from 2:00 – 3:30 p.m. with a Memorial Service at 3:30 p.m. on Friday, December 7th at First Covenant Church in Fort Dodge. www.masonlindhart.com
